So what he was talking about was that if your heart is truly in a place where you are completly focused on God and not yourself then the opinions of other people can be taken seriously and respected, but in the end you as an individual know that what you are doing is not for yourself.

Authentic leading
So after our very secretive disscussion in the stairwell... haha... I talked to the worship leader guru... known as M. Doige and his opinion on the matter was the following, "If your hearts are right, then the people who are concerned about how you are worshiping can have their opinions but you know that your heart is right." (this quote is NOT word for word, but paraphrased.)
